By accessing or using NABIO ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

NABIO provides an asset registration, monitoring, and theft prevention platform. Our services include:

• Asset registration and unique identification
• Ownership verification and documentation
• Theft reporting and recovery assistance
• Geofencing and location monitoring
• Ownership transfer management
• QR code generation for asset identification

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Complete identity verification (KYC) when required
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Asset Registration

When registering assets, you agree that:

• You are the lawful owner or authorized representative of the asset
• All information provided is accurate and truthful
• You have the right to register the asset on our platform
• You will update information if ownership or status changes
• False registration constitutes fraud and will be reported to authorities

5. Verification and Public Information

When an asset is verified publicly, limited information may be displayed including asset type, registration status, and theft status. Personal owner details are protected and only shared as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By registering assets, you consent to this limited public disclosure.

6. Theft Reporting

When reporting theft, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information about the incident
• File a police report and provide the report number when available
• Not file false or fraudulent theft reports
• Cooperate with law enforcement and our investigation team
• Update the report if the asset is recovered

Warning: Filing false theft reports is a criminal offense and may result in account termination, reporting to authorities, and legal action.

7. Ownership Transfers

Asset transfers must be initiated by the current registered owner and accepted by the recipient. Both parties must be verified users. NABIO is not responsible for disputes arising from private sales or transactions. We recommend using our platform's transfer feature for all ownership changes to maintain proper documentation.

8. Payments

For asset registration fees:

• Payments are processed securely through our payment partners
• Registration fees are one-time payments per asset
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase
• Fee amounts may change with reasonable notice
• Non-payment will prevent asset registration

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Register stolen assets or assets you don't own
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Interfere with the operation of the platform
• Scrape or copy data from our platform
• Circumvent security measures

10. Limitation of Liability

NABIO provides tools for asset registration and theft prevention but does not guarantee the recovery of stolen assets. We are not liable for:

• Theft, loss, or damage to registered assets
• Failure to recover stolen assets
• Disputes between users regarding ownership
• Actions of third parties, including law enforcement
• Service interruptions or technical issues

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by NABIO and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Certain provisions of these terms survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana. By using our Service, you consent to this jurisdiction.
